Before & After Your Bike Tour

Before

Coffee

Ritual Coffee Roasters – Want some of the best coffee in San Francisco before … and maybe after … your bike tour? You just found it. About 100 feet from our place at Hayes and Octavia.
Blue Bottle Coffee – Blue Bottle is legendary. High-end coffee just down the alley from us. Their original location, too! At the corner of Linden and Gough.
Cafe La Vie – The neighborhood coffee shop with a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. Less expensive and not at all trying to be fancy-hip-gourmet. 514 Octavia between Hayes and Grove.

Breakfast

Stacks – A sit-down, All-American breakfast place. Best pancakes in SF? We think so. Corner of Hayes and Octavia. Opens at 7am.
Cafe La Vie – Mentioned above in the coffee section, they serve bagels, pastries, and inexpensive breakfast sandwiches. We’d go hungry without this place. 514 Octavia St. between Hayes & Grove.

After

Lunch

Smitten Ice Cream – Gourmet ice cream made on the spot with liquid nitrogen! Woah! Literally steps away from our location.
Arlequin Cafe – Awesome outdoor patio in back for warmer weather. Incredible variety of beer & wine, sandwiches, pastries, etc. This is where San Francisco keeps it classy. At Hayes and Gough, about 1 block away.
Patxi’s Pizza – Best pizza in the ‘hood. Super-thick Chicago-style and thin crust, too. Great lunch special–slice, salad, drink–for $10. 511 Hayes St. at Octavia.
Mission burritos – From our location, you are less than a mile’s walk to many of the Mission district’s best taquerias. Get a burrito and get it “super” : )

Dinner

Suppenkuche – Awesome place to have German food and beer along with a really social atmosphere. You may have to wait for a table. At Hayes & Laguna.

O-Toro Sushi – Top grade sushi spot so close to SoSF. They are small so book in advance for a Fri/Sat night. Go for the specials on the chalkboard. 205 Oak St. between Octavia and Gough.
Zuni Cafe – Iconic San Francisco bistro. Make sure to try the bread salad and rotisserie chicken. 1658 Market St. between Van Ness & 12th.
Rich Table – The most luxurious addition to Hayes Valley, this new American restaurant is on the cutting edge of modern cuisine. 199 Gough St. at the corner of Oak.
