The Classic
$89 Book Tour

  • 11-12 miles (18-19km)
  • 270 ft (82m)
  • 4.5 to 5 hrs
  • Ride by Queen Anne Victorians on the Classic bike tour, San Francisco.

  • On the Classic bike tour, you’ll get to see lots of different neighborhoods and take a break for lunch, too. Cycling your way through SF.

  • Bike through one of SF’s more famous neighborhoods, filled with local businesses and the infamous Castro Theater.

  • San Francisco has some kooky politicians–and kooky laws. City Hall is where it all gets done.

  • Discover (or rediscover!) 1960’s psychedelic rock in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood.

What You’ll Explore
The Classic is everything the Heart of the City is, plus more: more neighborhoods, more distance (2-3 miles), more stops, and a break for lunch. You’ll explore a variety of signature SF neighborhoods and get a great sense of how they connect and merge together.

Neighborhoods visited
Hayes Valley, Alamo Square, Nopa, Golden Gate Park, Haight-Ashbury, Lower Haight, the Castro, the Mission, SoMa, Civic Center.

Need to Know

  • Prices include bicycle and helmet. Gratuities not included – please consider tipping your guide.
  • Booking for one person? Great – we love solo travelers! Please note we require 2 or more participants to run a tour. If you are the only one booked the day before a tour, we may ask you to move to a different tour or give you a full refund.

Most of the elevation gain is done early in the tour. It is slightly longer than the Heart of the City but doesn’t feel much more difficult.

We take safety very seriously. Our tours take you on San Francisco’s safest bike lanes, bike routes, and quiet streets. We provide safety instructions before each tour. Helmets (provided) are mandatory.
